Chuck Gowing, 49, of Palm Bay, Florida had the scary experience of seeing a co-worker have a heart attack. It's something that hit a little too close for comfort -- Chuck weighed in over 350 pounds himself. The shortness of breath, bad sleep and body soreness only compounded his health problems. On a recent flight, Chuck had to ask for a seat belt extension -- the final straw. His life had to change. He started tracking his food intake using the popular app " Lose It! " to shed the extra pounds he had accumulated in his life. Chuck had a history of unsuccessful attempts prior to trying out the app. He tried Weight Watchers, low-carb diets, even starving himself on occasion. Nothing helped, until he tracked his calories using the Lose It! app. The first things to go was his unhealthy eating habits.
